Pick of the Clicks

The rain this past week has been relentless in my area, making many runs and bike rides sloppy wet.  However, I did get to see some dry patches of weather and take some pretty neat pictures, which inspired the following poem:

Bumble Bee Lisa A. Wisniewski

Bumble Bee

Canvas of Life

Bumble bee on upon the bloom,
A sight to see amidst the truth
Of nature’s art stretched far and wide
Within the heart of the canvas of life.

Doe and Fawns Lisa A. Wisniewski

Doe and Fawns
Lisa A. Wisniewski

Doe and fawns spotted white and rusty brown
Running from the lawn to the woods’ crown,
Graceful and innocent with eyes wide
Beautiful within the canvas of life.

Walnut Tree Lisa A. Wisniewski

Walnut Tree
Lisa A. Wisniewski

Majestic walnut tree towering above
Spreading shade beneath the rising sun
With limbs stretching side to side
In the maze within the canvas of life.

Storm Clouds in the Distance Lisa A. Wisniewski

Storm Clouds in the Distance
Lisa A. Wisniewski

Puffy thunder clouds overhead
Rising with wonder as the winds press
The boughs of the trees beneath the sky,
All part of the tapestry in the canvas of life.

Sunrise in the East Lisa A. Wisniewski

Sunrise in the East
Lisa A. Wisniewski

So much beauty and wonder to behold
To the eyes of the wandering soul
Watching and learning from day to night
As the world keeps turning in the canvas of life.

Sunset After the Rain Lisa A. Wisniewski

Sunset After the Rain

May the changes within the canvas of life
Allow God’s blessings to be given in time,
And may the colors that grow and fade
Allow the soul walking the road to find its way.

I will try to do a more scientific post in the next few days.  All the wet weather has me busier than normal and finding time to write has been challenging.
